HOLOCAUST AND GENOCIDE REVIEW (HGR) INFORMATION RESOURCES GPN ISSUE 4 FALL 2010

New Initiatives in Genocide Studies and Prevention

Bibliography of Publications

Are you interested in a Good Read in Holocaust and Genocide Studies?

The Bibliography of Holocaust and Genocide Studies highlights a sample of the wide-range of resources in our field beginning with 2008. For material prior to 2008, we are developing a Classics Section for outstanding and trailblazing publications that have contributed to the foundations of our interdisciplinary field.

In Issue 4, we are proud to continue our new feature of the Bibliography section – the table of contents for the most recent issues of the journals, Genocide Study and Prevention, and Holocaust and Genocide Studies as well as the new Journal for the Study of Antisemitism. As permission to republish the table of contents of other journals is received, we will include these in future issues of GPN Genocide Prevention Now as well as the table of contents for edited books published in the field.

An additional feature of the Bibliography in the upcoming months will be a link to the WorldCat that will assist researchers in locating the individual publications in libraries throughout the world. If a publication is not available at your local library or university, this access point will greatly help in securing the publication through Interlibrary Loan.

We invite all researchers and scholars to submit their publications to us from 2008 to the present, along with abstract/summaries to be included in the GPN Bibliography of Holocaust and Genocide Studies. We are interested in books, chapters of books, journal articles, dissertations, films and all other types of publications that reflect the interdisciplinary field of Holocaust and Genocide Studies. Our goal is to develop an online bibliographic database for publications in the growing field of Holocaust and Genocide Studies that will benefit researchers as well as students in our field.

Please send full citations along with abstracts/summaries to: Marc I. Sherman, Director, Holocaust and Genocide Review, GPN Genocide Prevention Now. E-mail: msherman.gpn@genocidepreventionnow.org
