Holocaust and Genocide Review Programs and Courses

With this issue, GPN presents an initial Directory of Programs in Holocaust and Genocide Studies. These programs range from the one Ph.D. program in genocide studies in the world today at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, to various MA programs, undergraduate degrees, minors, concentrations within degree programs, graduate certificate programs, and an online program. Many universities and colleges have degree programs such as History, Political Science, and International Relations that allow students to choose a specialty in the area of Holocaust or genocide although there are no formal degrees offered in these fields.

Each month, GPN will highlight a specific program to further enable people to explore opportunities for degrees and courses in the field of Holocaust and Genocide Studies. For this inaugural issue of GPN, we are happy to profile the Master of Holocaust and Genocide Studies program offered through the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. We would like to thank Prof. Mark Baker, Director and Nadine Davidoff, Centre Manager for contributing this article on the Master of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Monash University.
