This is the sad and shocking reality. The Taliban and Bin Laden are not isolated cases but manifestations of a complex and potentially durable sociopolitical phenomenon. Basically, this phenomenon involves the immoral, unscrupulous and irreligious exploitation of Islam as a political weapon.
